HSBC Champions

PGA Tour / European Tour - HSBC Champions

This weekend course world gaze was directed to only one field - Sheshan International GC in Shanghai, where he played WGC tournament - HSBC Champions. As with the other tournaments of the series of World Golf Championship (Accenture Match Play Championship, the CA Championship and Bridgestone Invitational) and the HSBC Champions as they played only the best of the best. Needless to say, that played a big check ... big for more than $ 1.2 million.

After the first day we had a pleasant surprise because in keeping with the results come out (-8) Nick WATNEY, which this year has flashed a few times. Interestingly 2 hit him there were Martin Kaymer and Ryan Moore and Shane Lowry, who won as an amateur in this year's European Tour tournament, he was professional and did not pass a single Cuta. Woods, Mickelson and the rest lurked not far behind.

WATNEY second day did not play as good as on Thursday but still managed to keep running with the result (-10), so that travelers are not playing solidly and with Tiger Woods. One stroke back were the second day after Phil Mickelson, Ryan Moore and demonic far beating Alvaro Quiros. Shane Lowry and Martin Kaymer, unfortunately, they played until 8 beats more than the day before and depart significantly from the leaders. Ernie Els reminded about the beautiful shot of par3, which is presented below.

On Saturday, about how the game of golf remembered Lee Westwood and Geoff Ogilvy played the best round of the day (65 strokes), but their loss was still large. Team WW (WATNEY and Woods) played remisowała modestly and still with the result (-12) which used the "Lefty" Mickelson including two shock lead. Ryan Moore, who played evenly after three rounds found on the 4 position with a score of (-11).

Sunday's finale was one of the most exciting rounds, we have seen this season. Tiger Woods wanting to catch up as soon as possible operator Mickelson sprinkled terribly on the first of Nine making double bogey and two bogey. Then it was better but the bogey on the hole 18tym tipped the case of T2 and Woods finally fell into place T8. WATNEY also stumbled but 2 birdie at the last two holes, minimize losses and Americans fell into place just 4 On the fourth jump of the Underworld (T17), our favorite Rory McIlroy, who reached the best round on Sunday (as we write the moment he is not alone) tournament - 63 and ended the struggle with the result (-14). Third, certainly deservedly took Ryan Moore, who finished the tournament with a score of (-15).

And two of the best? Well, it could be different because yesterday was the most erratic Ernie Els. South African player on the First of Nine was (-6) and after an additional 4 birdie holes and 8 was a step away from sensationalism. Not every day is to (-10) after 17 holes. Apparently, however, won the nerves because, ironically Ernie on the last hole par 5, which previously played (birdie, par, birdie) made a bogey and finished with a score of HSBC Champions (-16) which greatly facilitated the first player to average at Nine Mickelsonowi. No. 2 the world of golf has regained self-confidence until the hole 13 and with three birdie the last six holes to win by one stroke event.

HSBC Champions Tournament is in its fourth victory this year, Mickelson, second in the WGC tournament in only 18 starts. Number 2 can not number 1 but still fantastic.
