Champion in 1974 in this category is Mike Austin, a 25 September 1974, sent the ball on an unimaginable distance of 515 yards (471 meters). For clarity, the guy was 64 years! Three and a half decades later, his shot is still the longest strike in history classified in the Guinness Book of Records.
But we have news. Pádraig Harrington played almost twice as far because of more than 830 meters! How is this possible?
