Helium or rundka Spanish in La Manga
Written 29/10/2009 by Thomas Zembrowski
La Manga is a charming peninsula about 23 kilometers in the south-eastern Spain. From the east it borders the Mediterranean Sea, south-western borders of the bay called (Mar Menor), ie, the Little Sea. Hel Peninsula but it reminds a little bit different and architecture. La Manga is situated in the administrative region - Murcia from which is about 55km from the historic Cartagena divides it just 18 km away.
Peninsula differs from other Spanish regions more days of sunshine and the water temperature in summer exceeds 30 degrees. Hence gained the name of the "Warm Coast".
Season here lasts all year round and winter months are revealed only to a stronger wind.
Provided, of course, the golf season, and part of the "Show off where he is playing" welcome to a little trip to Las Lomas, a charming "wioseczki in La Manga.
In this lies the quiet village famous, powerful and above all the highest quality property in La Manga Golf Club, which played include: Spanish Open, Spanish PGA Championships, Spanish Junior Championships, Ladies' Spanish Open and Senior Spanish Open.
The 35-year history, the club lived to see the numerous awards, which confirm class golf in La Manga:
Europe's Leading Golf Resort, World Travel Awards 2001, 2003 & 2005
Spain's Leading Golf Resort, World Travel Awards, 2006
Runner Up, World's Best Golf Resort, Luxury Travel Reader Awards 2007 & 2008
Spain's Most Innovative Resort, Premios Vía, 2007
Nominee, World's Leading Sports Resort, World Travel Awards 2006 & 2007
The club consists of three fields:
South Course was designed by Robert Putmana in 1971, but Arnold Palmer came to him in the 90s and slightly reconstructed. The white tee box is 6500 meters, is Stacked with bunkers and ponds and it is on it is plays most of the major events. Believe us, this field teaches humility

North Course - is much shorter because it is only 5700 meters, but the fairway are much thinner so "midnight" is not much easier than "south". Players waiting on the reconstructed small greens that are so very small and very undulating so the real battle awaits you

West Course - The last of the big three is probably the most popular field among the guests, perhaps due to the centered distance - 5980 m, and perhaps because of the views. Oldest golfers say that the pair 3 in this field is the most beautiful collection of short holes to be found in one 18-tce. We believe them. This is undoubtedly the most classic golf in La Manga.
